GPT Image 1.5 was already strong on prompt adherence and speed. GPT Image 2 goes further — near-perfect text rendering, dense magazine-style layouts, real photorealism, and flexible aspect ratios that finally make the model usable for marketing, content creation, and filmmaking.
In this video, we break down exactly what's new:
• Near-perfect text rendering (reported 99% accuracy, up from ~60–70%) • Dense multi-section layouts in a single generation (magazines, infographics, posters) • Photorealism with real camera and film references (Contax T2, Kodak Portra 800, Canon 5D) • Multilingual text in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, and Bengali • Improved spatial reasoning for multi-object scenes • Lighting and material physics (dual-temperature setups, reflections, subsurface scattering) • Flexible aspect ratios up to 3:1 wide and 1:3 tall • Up to 2K native resolution (4K via third-party providers) • ~2x faster than GPT Image 1.5
